Watching My Best Friend Become a Bride | Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

I'm photographing my best friend's maternity session today, and before I get into how excited I am to be an auntie and what an amazing mother I know this gem of a woman is going to be, I first wanted to throw back and talk about how magical it felt to watch her become a wife. 

When Sara's happy she glows, and on her wedding day literally she radiated happiness. The kind that's contagious, and makes you feel warm and fuzzy. She was a stunning bride.

With misty eyes and a full heart I watched as she promised her heart to a man that complements her perfectly; they’re a team.  I snuck in a couple sunset pictures of the two of them, and loved watching the joy.  As she threw her head back and giggled, I thought about what a blessing it is to know your best friend has found the love of her life. 

As a photographer sometimes its hard for me to be a wedding guest, and at the reception Sara teased me to put down my camera and be present.  For most of the night I did, but there were a couple moments where I had to freeze that magical joy.  '

Now in the weeks to come, brace yourself for an abundance of adorable pictures of my favorite little growing family. I can't wait for him to make his arrival; she's due on my birthday! Eeeeeeeeeee! 

Sara, you’re going to be an amazing momma. I know you and Nathan are going to love that baby with the same fierceness that you love each other, and I’m so happy for you. I know watching you become a mother is going to be as enchanting as watching you become a wife. Cheers to the next season and even more joy!
