Today were throwing back to Brittany and Chad's dreamy fall engagement session! New Harmony was the perfect backdrop for their shoot with its lush gardens and picture perfect scenery everywhere you turn! I adored Brittany's outfit choices and her flower crown that completed the romantic look!

How did you two meet? Give us the dirty details! Who, what, when, where, and why?

Chad and I first meet when we were in school at US I. We never dated in College but we were friends. He was in a fraternity and every once in awhile we would see each other at his Fraternity parties that his brothers would throw. So, this one fraternity party which was my first ever, my best friend Samantha talked me into going into to a highlighter party that Chads Fraternity brothers were throwing one night. I will say I was nervous and scared of what I was about to get myself into. So, I went and as we arrived and got into the party, I spotted Chad in a corner. I thought wow, he's handsome and tall! But my friend Samantha gave her two sense and said ,Brittany that's Chad Dempsey, you don't want to date him.. lol So, I moved on. After awhile of being there, I started dancing and having fun till Chad came up to me and pushed me out of the way , stating, your doing the Dougie all wrong. Yep, love at first sight. Years went by, Chad graduate and I still had a year left of school. I was working at David's Bridal, when this tall handsome guy walked in asking if I could help him find a gift for a wedding that he was attending. So, I reminded him this was a wedding store and that I would guide him in the right direction. After that I knew I had to be with him. I felt it in my heart I would marry him.

When did you know they were the one? Was there a specific moment or something specific they did?
I knew Chad was the one after the first real date. I loved him more than anything. He was so handsome and I loved his charm and his smile. I knew Brittany was the one after I moved in with her. I knew she was going to make a great wife.

Tell us about the proposal! Did you see it coming? How long were you planning it? How did you feel? Nervous? Excited? Freaking out?!

Chad proposed on September 27th, 2014 in St. Louis. Chad had planned a weekend getaway for us to go wine tasting in Southern IL. So we packed up the car and headed to Southern IL to do some wine tasting, just the two of us. I kinda had a feeling that something special was going to happen but I wanted it to be a surprise, so I let him do his thing. We finally found the vineyards after Chad off road driving! It was really nice that day and I could tell Chad was very nervous. After the last vineyard Chad said, well let's get in the car because we're going to St. Louis for our next surprise. So, we drove all the way to St. Louis, where Chad had made our hotel reservations at the Hyatt. After getting settled in after our long drive, I was tired and hungry. So, we quickly got ready and before we left Chad had gotten down on his knees in the hotel and proposed to me. I was so excited and smiling that I don't remember dinner because I was calling my family and friends.

I have to say I was hoping Chad was going to propose around that time because I was getting very impatient!! I was a woman on a mission and I knew I loved him very much. I had three rings picked out and I knew the girls at Tracy Zeller would take care of him plus I had them on speed dial to see if he was in and his every step. Come on girls, we've all been there! From there after the proposal, the wedding planning began, we would be married October 10th, 2015.

What is one thing you love most about each other?

The one thing I love the most about Brittany is her beauty, she can light up any room with her smile. I love how much she cares for me and motivates me to be a better person. She is so loving! Chad is very tall and handsome. He is very caring and works hard to support me. I love how he is patient with everything.

Let's see! Chad always brushes his teeth before he goes to any sporting activity he is playing in or before he goes to the gym. It is so weird, but I'm not against him having fresh breath when he's kicking around a soccer ball or lifting weights.

Now, Brittany is a whole another story! Brittany loves to clean and keep things very organized and neat. She is what you call a perfectionist! If she ask me to clean the kitchen, I do it, but then she is right behind me cleaning what I have already cleaned. Then there's her famous "Jessica Simpson" moments that are all pretty good and I'm pretty use to it. For example, Brittany and went to Louisville and the way back Brittany got really excited and pointed at the KFC Yum Center and said, "Babe this is where all the chickens are made for KFC!" Yes, my wife.. The list goes on. I hope our first child is not that bad!

What are the top three things you like to do as a couple?

The top three things that we like to do as a couple is take walks by the river in downtown Newburgh, staying home with each other and watching movies, and traveling with each other or just getting out of town to have our alone time.
