These two have known each other for years, in fact they dated in high school. Fate brought them back together and it’s clear they were meant for one another all along. The bridesmaids hustled to get ready, and Heather opened the most precious locket from Ben with the inscription “It was always you” and with pictures of them from high school inside. I literally melted into a puddle of admiration for their love story. As someone who married the guy she loved in high school later in life, let’s just say I have a soft spot.

Heather and Ben got married Halloween Weekend, on a beautiful fall day at The Discovery Lodge. Which was perfect because, Halloween is this couple’s all time favorite holiday! Heather is a non traditional bride, which I loved! She went with a beautiful crocheted black dress with bell sleeves that was so incredibly stunning! The venue was elaborately decorated from top to bottom in black florals, lanterns and sparkle. Together with their friends these two spent the last 18 months preparing for the wedding and their attention to detail shined through with the incredible decor!

Surrounded by family and their crew they tied the knot and promised to love each other deeply and devote their lives to one another and their family. My favorite part of their ceremony was the stolen kisses during their vows (yes please) and the eruption of joy as soon as they were pronounced husband and wife. The absolute and complete joy Heather and Ben share is pure magic. As we rolled into the reception it was all about raised glasses, heartfelt toasts and dancing!
