Erika and Dane | Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

I’ll never forget Dane’s face when Erika came down the aisle, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a man so filled with pride, gratitude and love waiting to hug his bride. As their eyes met tears streamed down Erika’s face as she walked arm in arm with her dad, if there’s one thing this girl is sure of it’s that she’s meant to be Dane’s wife.

Erika and Dane got married at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church where Dane’s parents were married years before. Before the ceremony they prayed together (without peeking!) and exchanged love letters. I couldn’t help but share a couple of my favorite parts of their letters; these two share such a special love story.

In Dane’s love letter to Erika he wrote:

“I will always love you, you are the person I want to spend my forever with. Your passions are my passions, your problems are my problems, your love is my love. E, you’re the most beautiful, loving woman I’ve ever met. You bring out the best in me”

In Erika’s love letter to Dane, she wrote

“You have filled my life with happiness that I never knew existed. As I sit here on our wedding day, I smile knowing I won the game of life. I won because I found you. I cherish you and I love you with everything inside of me”

After the ceremony we headed straight for the reception at the Discovery Lodge! Surrounded by friends and family in their beautifully decorated reception, these two danced the night away!  

Erika and Dane, you know I adore you both and feel so very privileged to be the one that photographed your wedding day!
