Ashley & Rob | Owensboro Kentucky Wedding Photographer

Ashley & Rob had a Game of Thrones-themed wedding, and it was totally perfect for them! Every little detail spoke back to the theme and who they are as a couple: a little weird (in the BEST way!), definitely silly, quirky, so happy and perfectly suited for each other!

My friends, Will and Katie Ritter, introduced me to the couple, and it was an honor to photograph their big day.

Ashley got ready at the Hampton Inn in Owensboro in one of the bridal suites overlooking the Ohio River. The first look was so sweet, and the bridal party did all their pictures before. Their wedding and reception were both at the Owensboro Convention Center, which is so modern and beautiful. It’s downtown, right on the river, and has the perfect light… what more could a photographer ask for?

The highlight of the night was that Rob and Ashley had THE most magical first dance ever, the kind of first dance every girl dreams of: perfectly choreographed and incredibly romantic! Check out the video here by Journey Home Films and grab the tissues; it’s absolutely beautiful!
