Eric and Nicole: Positano, Italy | Positano, Italy Photographer

Eric and Nicole are a perfect pair. They live in Chicago and love to travel. This is the second time they've been to Europe together! Europe in May is kind of their thing and this time they traveled to Rome and the Almafi Coast. I met up with them in Positano which is nestled on west part of the Almafi Coast. Looking up from the black sand beach, the houses cascade up - looking like a vivid watercolor painting, so romantic. 

Positano is the kind of place that tugs at your heart and leaves you missing it the moment you leave. But you know what even more lovely than Positano itself? Running into great friends while you're there! When Eric and Nicole told Dakota and I about their trip I remember thinking how amazing it sounded! I had no idea I'd be there with my friend Alissa at the same time!

Once I found out our trips would overlap, we decided to meet up for a quick dinner and mini photoshoot. After our shoot we had dinner at Rada, which was exceptional. The restaurant is built into the cliff, overlooking the ocean. On this particular night the waves were incredibly large and we watched them crash into the rocks throughout dinner.  After, we were quickly seated and... spoiled (They put our purses on a tufted foot stool so they wouldn't touch the ground, #princesstreatmeant  dinner started with surprise amuse-bouche and ended with a series of tiny desserts. It was the perfect meal for the perfect surprise photoshoot! 

Eric and Nicole, it was so much fun seeing you in Italy! Thanks for letting me sneak in a photoshoot during your vacation! Dakota and I can't wait to celebrate with you in St. Thomas in December!
