Living Room | Alisha Sims Photography
My living room doubles as my client viewing room and a place I shoot so it's a mix of personal comfort and functionality for my photography business. After hearing my vision for the room, Allie knew immediately the color we’d be going with! Pepper Corn is perfect for shooting my clients on, as well as provides a cozy environment for viewings and watching Netflix.
My most adored piece of furniture in the living room is by far my lavender bar. Which is funny because if you know me personally, I’m not a huge fan of color. Allie suggested it and I thought, "Ummm, maybe, but probably not." But, once I saw it, I knew it was going to look great on the Pepper Corn walls and I fell in love. Good designers know best; one day I’ll learn. The bar paint color is actually called ‘Touch of Grey’ and they’re not kidding - it’s the slightest touch. The knobs from the bar came from Anthropologie and I swooned at the way they were once again styled out of my comfort zone.
And I've decided outside my comfort zone is the best way to live. This room has me swooning.
