I’ve been photographing my sweet friend Kristen’s babies for 10 years now. I can hardly believe it! Kristen let me submit them to all kinds of my art projects in college. Over the years I watched not only Kiney and Beckham grow but Kris too. When she told me she was pregnant with Everett, all settled in a her house and getting married I was so incredibly happy for her!
Morgan contacted me to shoot her engagement session and I was over the moon! Morgan and her fiancé Logan are best friends, and the joy they share about their upcoming wedding just radiated during the entire session! Morgan is studying to become a doctor and Logan is a Physical Therapist at , I loved how they incorporated a little bit of their shared career passion into the session.
So this blog is seriously delayed. I took these pictures right before I left for Europe and it was my highest priority to get this sweet Momma’s album delivered before baby boy arrived, so the blog got bumped back a little. But I wanted to take a second to share these because I just adore this family!
Ally is a senior at Mt. Carmel High School. For her session we did a combo of shooting in Evansville and Mt. Carmel to fully capture everything that makes her, her. We kicked off the session downtown then mixed up the view and made sure to get some beautiful images with a natural landscape. We finished up her senior pictures on the tennis courts. Ally plays tennis and soccer and is a pep leader at games.
I’ll never forget Dane’s face when Erika came down the aisle, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a man so filled with pride, gratitude and love waiting to hug his bride. As their eyes met tears streamed down Erika’s face as she walked arm in arm with her dad, if there’s one thing this girl is sure of it’s that she’s meant to be Dane’s wife.
Kaylan met her dad for their first look in front of her Grandpas vintage car, which is the same car that she was dropped off in at the church for her first look with Clint. She met Clint on the steps of St. Raphael's Catholic Church. The ceremony had a ton of sentimental value because they both have been attending that church since they were young. So precious!
Alexandria and Pat, thank you so much for trusting me to photograph your special day. It was so romantic, full of surprises and couldn't have suited you two better. The AWP team is wishing you both all the happiness and love in your marriage!
Lauren and her girls started the day by sipping mimosas while they were getting their hair and makeup done. The bridesmaids wore dresses that were all different styles to show each girl's personality, how sweet is that?! Lauren complimented her stunning dress with sparkly Kate Spade tennies and wore a gold bracelet she compiled to be a really special family heirloom. Her wedding day look was the perfect pairing of something old and something new!
